Limerick's 4th Diecast Model & Diorama Show

Wow what a fantastic day was had by all at Limerick’s 4th Diecast Model & Diorama Show 2014 in the South Court Hotel, Raheen, Co. Limerick. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who attended the Show. To the Traders and the Displayers who came to exhibit their Model Diorama’s and Model Collections a massive Thank You without your dedication and support there would be no show. The dedication and time that goes into these Diorama’s is outstanding from Farm, Trucks, Construction, Cars, Military, Trains, Doll Houses,  a lot of ye travelled from all different counties in Ireland and it is greatly appreciated.  To the public who supported us at the door from all over a major Thank You. Also major thanks go to the Charity Limerick Animal Welfare who we have been delighted to support since year one back in 2011. A special thanks to volunteer Chris Samways for her devoted time and to all the volunteers on the day including Marion Fitzgibbon.

Also thanks go to the South Court Hotel, Manager Dermot Kelly, Aisling Condon Conference and Banqueting, Pat McGarvey Sales And Marketing Manager and all the staff of the South Court Hotel who we have worked with since year one in 2011, it’s now well and truly the home of Limerick’s Diecast Model & Diorama Show. A word of thanks also to Martin Bolger (Floor Plan Manager) for his work with the measuring tape, Mike Dwyer of Fine Signs for his fantastic Signage from Flyers to Road Signs you name Mike done it and also for his patience for putting up with me, to Martin Ryan of Munster Advertising for covering the place with Signs, to my security men Pat Bedford of Omega Security and on Sunday Gary Ahern & Jim Kiely a great bunch. Last but not least my good friend and business partner Ray Elliott of Diecast Models 4U, my childhood friends David Pearse and Darren Ryan, my hardworking sister Therese and her friend Helena who worked at the admission desk to the best Mum in the world Jacinta for working on my M&M Diecast Models trade stand, also to dad who was busy with extra lights and David Field who helped out at my stand & to my neighbours and friends who came to the show.

I can truly say the show was a Major Success, the feedback has been overwhelming from traders who quoted having a fantastic sales day and an ever increasing flow of new and existing customers, to displayers who have quoted as being “very well treated”, “loved the dinner”, and most of all their token medal of appreciation for coming was very well received. The feedback from the public is out of this world to quote one family who were “blown away by the detail in the Diorama’s and Display’s”.

I can’t thank everybody enough for making the show happen and ye have made the show into the success that it is today four years on, and I can confirm that we will be back for Limerick’s 5th Diecast Model & Diorama Show in September 2015.

We will be making our donation/presentation to the charity Limerick Animal Welfare over the next few weeks. To keep up to date with Limerick’s Diecast Model & Diorama Show Like us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/LimerickDiecastShow

Again thanks to everybody it is greatly appreciated and means an awful lot to me and I look forward to seeing ye all back in September 2015

Thank You
